Diabetes affects both the slimmest person out there so is not only for those with excess body fat. It is pertinent to note that those with excess body fat are at higher risk compare to the slim type.
Many people do have the disease in a number of ways such as dietary factors – sugar sweetened drink soft drink, including the type of fat present in most of the food we consume. Many people think it is an enjoyment drinking soft drink while eating instead of opting for a natural fluid such as water. This is simply because they don’t think of the negative health impacts (obesity and diabetes). Some other factors may include family history, age, obesity and zero exercise.
Preventive measure
The most common types of diabetes is the type 2 which experts in the field of medicine believe it is preventable and its cause is associated with the above listed factors. type 2  could be prevented or even return to normal if one practice a moderate physical exercise at least 30 minutes every day or weekend  and a healthy diet. The physical activity may include walking, running, cycling, stretches, jogging and swimming.
Some Symptoms of Diabetes
Feeling hungry, urinating often, dry itchy skin, feelings of pains and needles in your feet. When one is not sure of the disease the way to be sure is to have blood test. As may be concluded in his study, healthy diet and moderate exercise can help to lower the risk of developing diabetes. In this study a healthy diet is a diet with high fiber, high polyunsaturated to saturated fat ratio. According to a nutritionist, Mrs. Tolulope Folarin, a healthy diet contains all the classes of nutrients in the right proportion, such as fruits, and vegetables (carrots, oranges, apples, garden eggs, among others). For those already having the disease adjusting your lifestyle is very necessary such as the use proper shoes with silica gel or air- filled soles and keep the feet dry. A diabetic patient needs to take at least snaks such as those rich in protein before exercise and adjust medication dose if insulin have been injected on the patient body part that is supposed to be use during exercise.
