The righteousness of God is embodied in Christ we receive righteousness by receiving Him not by painful struggles or wearisome toil, not by gift or scarifies, is righteousness obtain. Seventh- day Sabbath in the Old Testament It is common to hear Christians refer Sunday as the Lord’s Day and find interpreting John’s statement accordingly, but there is no reference in the scriptures to Sunday as the Lord’s Day. Jesus claimed Sabbath as His Day in Mark 20:28. The first day of the week is mention eight (8) times in the New Testament, but at no time it is called Sabbath.
